To Remove the Instrument Cover
C A U T I O N
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage or destroy electrostatic components. All work on
electronic assemblies should be performed at a static-safe work station. See
Discharge Information" on page 1-8
1 Disconnect the power cord from the instrument.
WA R N I N G
Opening covers or removing parts is likely to expose dangerous voltages. Disconnect the
instrument from all voltages before it is opened.
2 Position the mainframe so that you have access to the back of the instrument, as shown in
7-1.
