5. In the properties dialog of the LAN connection, select the entry "Internet protocol version
4 (TCP/IPv4)" in the "Network" tab.
6. Click "Properties".
In the properties dialog that opens, the settings depend on whether you have activated
the DHCP server function of the RTU, refer to section LAN (Page 107).
Make the settings according to the DHCP configuration, refer to the following sections.
7. Confirm the dialogs with "OK" and close the Control Panel.
DHCP server of the RTU enabled (default setting of the RTU in the factory)
The DHCP client function of the RTU is disabled.
1. Select the option to obtain the IP address automatically..
2. Select the option to obtain the address of the DNS server automatically to be also able to
reach the RTU on the LAN interface via the host name.
This is the more convenient setting. During connection establishment, the RTU assigns an IP
address to the configuration PC via the DHCP server. The RTU can then be reached on the
LAN interface using the host name.
