Mounting note for IP68 protection
The degree of protection IP68 is only ensured when the lid screws and the screws of the
premounted flange plate are tightened with the designated torque and all drill holes in the
housing are closed with the intended accessories (cable gland or sealing plug and cabinet
feedthrough or lightning protection element).
Keep to the following torques:
• Lid screws and screws of the premounted flange plate: 2.5 Nm
• Cover nut of the cable gland M16: 3.5 .. 4.5 Nm
• Cover nuts of sealing plugs M16: Fit hand-tight with a tool: 2.5 .. 3.5 Nm
• Pressure equalization element M12 (premounted): 1.5 Nm
• Cabinet feedthrough/lightning protection element 1.5 Nm
