Power supply

Power supply
Here you configure the various options for the power supply of the RTU, changing battery
modules, the power outputs of the RTU and possibly notifications.
Designation of the battery modules
● Battery module 1 is the right module which along with its battery expansion modules is
connected directly to the RTU.
● Battery module 2 is the left module which along with its battery expansion modules is
connected to the left of module 1.
For information on the location and labeling of the battery modules and battery expansion
modules, refer to the appendix Battery module and battery expansion module (Page 275).
Note
Battery modules in the WBM
In the WBM a battery module (module 1 or module 2) along with its battery expansion
modules forms a common logical unit.
A battery module can only be connected or disconnected in its entirety in the WBM. This
includes the supply via the relevant expansion modules.
External power supply
● Connected
Enable the option if you supply the RTU with an external source of power.

Here you have the option of selecting a path that you configured in "Services > FTP".
If the option is enabled, the transferred file will be appended to the FTP server. On the
server no file of the same name will be overwritten.
If you enable the option, the file is transferred as a compressed ZIP archive.
If you select the option, the RTU changes immediately to communication mode as
soon as a new log file is ready for sending.
