Function
The block counts the operating time after the positive edge change at the "Trigger" input
parameter.
Only via the input parameter "Reset", is the counter reset to 0 or the Initial value.
If the output should not start at the value 0, you can specify a different start value using the
function parameter "Initial value".
The current total counted value is output at the output as an unsigned 32-bit value in every
update cycle.

Digital output / bit
Tag that is set to 1 if the value of "Turn on threshold" is

Incremental counting: If "Turn on threshold" is
reached (exceeded), the "Counter status" output is
set to 1.
Decremental counting: If "Turn on threshold" is
reached (undershot), the "Counter status" output is
set to 1.

Incremental counting: Reset if "Turn on threshold" is
undershot or if the "Reset" input = 1 or if the counter
overflows (value = 0)
Decremental counting: Reset if "Turn on threshold" is
overshot
