Program blocks of the controller
For control tasks, 38 types of program blocks are available.
In total, a maximum of 32 program blocks can be created in up to eight networks..
For a description of the blocks, refer to the section Control functions (Page 23).
Number of communications connections for productive data transfer
● Configurable connections
The following number of connections can be configured as an alternative:
– 1 connection to the telecontrol server
– 1 connection to an ST7 master station (or node station)
– 1 connection to a DNP3 server
– 1 connection to an IEC master
Also:
– 1 connection to an OpenVPN server
● Productive connections
In total the following connections can be established at the same time:
– Max. 1 connection to a telecontrol server, an ST7 TIM, a DNP3 or IEC master
– Max. 1 connection to the VPN server
Number of HTTP/HTTPS connections for access to the WBM
● Max. 2 HTTP connections at the same time
No configuration or firmware file can be loaded simultaneously via both WBM sessions.
● Max. 2 HTTPS connections at the same time via LAN
● Max. 1 HTTPS connection at one time via WAN
User data and time stamps of data
The individual process values of the inputs/outputs are transferred to the master station in
data frames with a time stamp. You will find details in the section System time (Page 93).
