3) Assemble 1st & 2nd and 3rd & 4th gear hub assembly as fol-
lows.
• Fit shift sleeve (2) to hub (1), insert keys (3) in it and then set
springs (4) as shown in figure.
NOTE:
• If this is not the case, turn synchronizer spring 180°
and reinstall.
• Offset end of synchronizer engages in a key.
4) Install needle bearing (2) for 3rd gear to main shaft (1).
NOTE:
Slide 3rd gear (3) onto main shaft from drive gear side so
that cone (arrow) points towards the drive gear.
5) Install synchronizer ring (4) onto 3rd gear cone.
