Removal and Replacement

5.12 OCP Assembly

Perform the following procedure to remove the OCP assembly:
1. Extend the chassis for service (see Section 5.2).
2. Remove the front panel (see Section 5.3).
3. Remove the top cover (see Section 5.4).
4. Remove the CPU modules (see Section 5.13).
5. Remove the system card-cage fan assembly (see Section 5.16).
6. Remove the front EMI/RFI honeycomb filter assembly (see Section 5.17).
7. While reaching through the system card-cage fan area and holding the OCP assembly,
remove the four screws
the OCP assembly back (see Figure 5-11).
8. Remove the three push buttons
9. Unsnap the OCP module

10. Disconnect the OCP assembly ribbon cable

To replace the OCP assembly, refer to Figure 5-11and reverse steps 1 through 10 of the
removal procedure.
