SUBJECT: AFICIO MANAGER CLIENT VERSION 1.03 / NET VISION CLIENT
VERSION 1.03
SYMPTOM:
If the Aficio Manager Client / Net Vision Client is installed and left running in memory for an extended period,
hours or days, it may adversely affect system resources, specifically virtual memory and may cause the PC
to have a shortage of virtual memory.
CAUSE:
The specific cause of the problem is the "pmclient.exe" polling for printers that have not been assigned IP
addresses.
SOLUTION:
To avoid this situation from developing, it is recommended that Aficio Manager Client / Net Vision Client
Version 1.05 be installed and configured to only poll printers with a valid IP address by either checking or
unchecking the "To Be Monitored" checkbox in the Aficio Manager / Net Vision Client Window.

Aficio Manager Administrator and Net Vision Administrator are not affected by this issue and can continue to
be used.
Resolution:
A new version of Aficio Manager Client / Net Vision Client is being developed and will be available shortly.
You will be notified when it is available. The new version of Aficio Manager will be 1.06. Version 1.06 will
not automatically poll networked printers unless specifically configured to do so. This can be accomplished
in the Aficio Manager Options window, by highlighting the printer and then checking the "To Be Monitored"
checkbox.
