not crank or cranks slowly

Conditions:
Transaxle Position: PARK (Auto-
matic Transmission)
• Clutch: DEPRESSED (Manual
Transmission)
Ignition Switch: START

S (PPL) &

• If voltage is correct, replace Starter Sole-
noid. (Check that the Starter Motor is
properly grounded to the engine before re-
placing the Starter Solenoid. Scrape any ex-
cess paint, rust or dirt from the Starter
Motor mounting bolts.) Refer to section 6D
for replacement procedures.
1. Go to Tkble 2 (Automatic Transmission) or
Table 3 (Manual Transmission).
