Pressing Roll Description
The pressing roller assembly presses the media towards the rear
drive roller. The roller shaft is attached to a turning sleeve by means
of two spring-loaded arms in order to be self-aligning.
A linkage connects the turning sleeve to the headlift shaft so the
pressing roller is lifted when the printed is lifted manually using
the headlift knob (for example at media load), but not when the
printhead is lifted by the headlift motor during ribbon save opera-
tion.
