MAGNETO BASE

1) Disconnect the starting gear protection device.
2) Remove the manual starter.
3) Loosen the flywheel nut.

1. Place the flywheel nut Wrench flush on the
crankshaft.
2. The major load must be carried in the direc-
tion of the arrows, for if not the holder may
easily slip off.
4) Remove the flywheel magneto.

To prevent damage to the engine or tools, screw
in the flywheel magneto-puller set-bolts evenly
and completely so that the puller plate is paral-
lel to the flywheel.
