7. Press-fit:
9 Crank 1 or crank 3
Press body..........................................4

9 Be sure to press-fit the crank 1 or crank 3
squarely onto the crank pin.
9 Apply Yamaha 2-stroke motor oil on the crank
pin.
8. Measure:
9 Crank width a
Use the digital caliper.
Out of specification → Reassemble/
repress.

Measurements should be made at 1 to 5.
Crank width a
53.90 – 53.95 mm
(2.1220 – 2.1240 in)
NOTE:
If either distance is out of specification, reassemble
or repress the crankshaft.
