Is there enough fuel in the tank?
Can the starter rope be pulled?
Can the crankshaft be turned?
Can the compression be felt when pulling the
rope (Measure the compression.)?
Is a blue strong spark produced?
Does fuel reach the carburettor?
Do throttle cable operate normally?
Is the carburettor overflowing?
Does water collect in the float-bowl?
Is any jet clogged-up?
Is the ignition timing correct?
Does the reed-valve form good sealing or no
damage?
