Removing and Installing a Hot-Swap Fan
Your server includes two standard hot-swap fans and one optional hot-swap fan.
A
■
Remove only defective fans.
■
You have five minutes to replace the defective fan you
removed.
Checking a Fan Status
When a fan is failing, you can observe the fan failure in the following manner:
■ POST error code
■ Alert message via NEC ESMPRO application
■ System event logged by the optional remote management card
