and body ground.

YES Repair short to ground in the wire between
PCM connector terminal 42O and the mainshaft
speed sensor connector.a
NOTE: A short to ground on this circuit will damage
rhe PcM.
NO Update the PCI\4 if it does not have the latest
soflware or substitute a known-good PCM, then
recheck (see page 14-7). lf the symptom/indication
goes away with a known-good PCM, replace the
