4.3.3.3 Admin Privilege – ADSL Configuration
The ADSL Configuration page allows you to set the configuration for ADSL protocols.
Annex Mode Config : This allows you to manually configure the ADSL Router for Annex A
or Annex B mode by selecting User Configured and choosing the Annex Mode in the next
field.
User Selected Annex Mode : This allows you to select from Annex A and Annex B.
Trellis : Trellis Code is an advanced method of FEC (Forward Error Correction). This field
allows you to enable or disable the Trellis Code. By default, it is always enabled.
Handshake Protocol: This field allows you to select from the following ADSL handshake
protocols : Autosense – G.dmt first (default), Autosense – T1.413 first, G.dmt/G.lite, T1.413,
G.dmt, and G.lite.
Wiring Selection : This field allows you to enter the wiring selection for the RJ-11. Tip/Ring
is the default for the ADSL Router without the inner/outer pair relay. Available types are
Auto, Tip/Ring (default), and A/A1, where Tip/Ring is the inner-most pair of wires on the
RJ11 and A/A1 is the second inner-most pair.
Bit Swapping : This field allows you to enable or disable the upstream bit swapping. Bit
Swapping is disabled by default.
