Section 8 Service Procedures Unique to Electronic Control Model Dryers
To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, explosion, serious injury or death:
• Disconnect electric power to the dryer(s) before servicing.
• Close gas shut-off valve to gas dryer(s) before servicing.
• Never start the dryer(s) with any guards/panels removed.
• Whenever ground wires are removed during servicing, these ground wires must be
reconnected to ensure that the dryer is properly grounded.

and "P6" on control. This
resistance reading MUST BE
taken within three minutes
after pressing the GO pad.
Open loading door. Note the
temperature reading inside
the dryer.
Do temperature and resistance
readings approximately match
thermistor chart? Refer to
Figure 61.
Reconnect wires to control
and check for broken, loose or
incorrect wiring between
control and thermistor.
Wiring okay?
Problem probably not due
to electronic control or
thermistor.
After all checks have been
