Section 8 Service Procedures Unique to Electronic Control Model Dryers
To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, explosion, serious injury or death:
• Disconnect electric power to the dryer(s) before servicing.
• Close gas shut-off valve to gas dryer(s) before servicing.
• Never start the dryer(s) with any guards/panels removed.
• Whenever ground wires are removed during servicing, these ground wires must be
reconnected to ensure that the dryer is properly grounded.

80. SYMPTOM: BLOWN FUSE OR TRIPPED CIRCUIT BREAKER

Unplug power cord and disconnect
wires from terminals "P3" and
"COM". Take resistance reading
between terminals.
*166 Ohms ± 30% between "P3"
and "COM" terminals.
YES
Check for broken, loose or
incorrect wiring.
Wiring okay?
YES
Recheck from beginning. If
problem persists, replace control.
*This measurement should be made with a digital Multi-Meter set at 200 Ohm scale for best precision.
