NOTE:

Lock the threads on the bearing retainer by
staking them with a center punch.
2. Install:
• middle driven shaft nut 1
NOTE:
@
Temporarily tighten the middle driven shaft
nut.
INSTALLING THE MIDDLE DRIVE SHAFT
ASSEMBLY
1. Install:
• middle drive shaft shim
• bearing
• bearing retainer 1
(with the middle drive shaft retainer wrench
2)
Middle drive shaft retainer

NOTE:

Lock the threads on the bearing retainer by
staking them with a center punch.
2. Install:
• middle drive pinion gear
• lock washer
New
• middle drive pinion gear nut 1
