CLUTCH
4. Install:
• thrust washer
• clutch boss 1
• lock washer
• clutch boss nut 2
NOTE:

While holding the clutch boss with the univer-
sal clutch holder 3, tighten the clutch boss
nut.

5. Bend the lock washer tab along a flat side of
the nut.
6. Lubricate:
• long clutch push rod 1
• ball 2
• short clutch push rod 3
(with the recommended lubricant)
Recommended lubricant
Lithium soap base grease
7. Install:
• long clutch push rod
• ball
• short clutch push rod
(along with a new O-ring)
8. Lubricate:
• friction plates
• clutch plates
(with the recommended lubricant)
