1. Insert or connect media to camera.
Insert the CF card with the manufacturer's label facing outward (away from camera body). Push

on the rear of the camera using the 16-pin e-SATA cable provided.
2. When a CF card is inserted into the camera or RED-DRIVE® or RED-RAM® magazine is connected,
the camera will recognize the media is unformatted and display "DISK UNFORMATTED" in the LCD
display and the lower left corner of the external monitors will display "UNFORMATTED".
