To adjust: Select METER and twist joystick to change the ANALYSIS METER to the desired setting.
LUMA HIST/RGB HIST/MONO HIST/RAW HIST: Select a histogram that best illustrates the exposure
distribution of your scene.
NOTE: Histograms are affected by White Balance, ISO, VIEW and LOOK settings, however if VIEW
is set to RAW, histograms will represent the exposure levels at the sensor i.e. prior to White Bal-
ance, ISO and LOOK settings. The RAW histogram is the exception to this rule, in this case the
sensor exposure graph always represents true sensor exposure even though the underlying color-
less RGB graph will still be affected by White Balance, ISO, VIEW and LOOK settings.
LUMA HISTOGRAM: Displays the luminance values of the RGB monitor path (or sensor exposure when
VIEW is set to RAW).
RGB HISTOGRAM: Displays the RGB values of the RGB monitor path (or sensor exposure when VIEW is
set to RAW).
MONO HISTOGRAM: Displays the area of the RGB values of the RGB monitor path (or sensor exposure
when VIEW is set to RAW).
RAW HISTOGRAM: Displays the sensor exposure values (blue) over a colorless histogram of the RGB
monitor path (White).
NOTE: Histogram information is complemented by two additional meters, the Sensor Raw meter
and RGB Clip Meter.
SENSOR RAW METER
The Sensor Raw meter is a vertical color bar graph that indicates the true expo-
sure at the sensor. This meter is unaffected by White Balance, ISO or LOOK set-
tings, and therefore represents a true exposure of the sensor at all times. The me-
ter is color coded identically to the False Color overlay, so if False Color is
enabled and VIEW is set to RAW, False Color and Sensor RAW exposure indica-
tions will be identical.
