A hard disk drive having thickness of about 0.6 inch (15 mm) can be inserted to each of the eight
slots in the disk cage.
PORT0 to PORT7 are assigned in the order from right to left of lower (first) 2.5-inch disk cage.
PORT8 to PORT15 are assigned in the order from right to left of upper (second) 2.5-inch disk cage.
IMPORTANT:
starting from PORT0 (the rightmost slot). If you start filling from
PORT7 or skip filling the intermediate slot, the indication of access
lamp on hard disk drive will be incorrect.

A dummy tray is installed in the blank slot of hard disk drive bay.
IMPORTANT:
Use the dummy tray dedicated to the disk cage.

The purpose of a dummy tray is to increase the cooling effect in the

server. Install a dummy tray in slots not containing a hard disk
drive.
Fill the slots with hard disk drives sequentially
PORT8 to PORT15
from right to left
PORT0 to PORT7
from right to left
