  • Page 30 2-14 Configure CPU/IO module 1. When the NEC logo is displayed on the screen of the display unit after the system reboots, press the POWER switch on the front of the unit to turn off the power. Then, disconnect all the power cords from the server.

    Immediately after powering on the server, insert the VMware ESXi Install DVD into the DVD drive of the server. When an installation confirmation message appears, press Enter.     If connection to the ESXi host is made successfully, the Host Client screen appears as shown below. Input the user name and password of the system administrator, and log into the ESXi host.
