Definition(s)
The DJDE GRAPHIC= sentinel specifies that a document or page interleaved
graphic image immediately follows this record. It is this DJDE sentinel which
causes the LCDS-Module to be started.
If no textural data has been previously encountered, the graphic is document in-
terleaved.
If textural data has been previously encountered, the graphic is page interleaved.
As page interleaved graphic images must follow the textural data for a page, the
last textural data record is assumed to terminate the current page. All DJDE
GRAPHIC= records (and accompanying graphic image data) are considered as
valid for the current page. Any textural data/none DJDE GRAPHIC= records
which follow the DJDE GRAPHIC= will be processed relative to TOF on the next
physical page.
For on-line processing, an interleaved graphic image which immediately follows
a header banner page (defined by the BANNER command) is treated as docu-
ment interleaved. Skip carriage control on DJDE GRAPHICS= sentinels is ig-
nored for on-line processing.
name
Identifies the graphic. If document interleaved, it would become the filename with
which the image file is written (if the saving of graphic images was supported). In
both document and page interleaved mode, it is used to associate the graphic
with other DJDE references. (If no other parameters are specified, the parenthe-
ses may be omitted.)
vpos*
Specifies the vertical position of the top edge of the graphic, relative to 0,0 on the
current physical page.
hpos*
Specifies the horizontal position of the left edge of the graphic relative to 0,0 on
the current physical page.
units*
Available options are: centimeters (CM), inches (IN), user-defined units (UN),
DOTS, or XDOTS.
H* Specifies that this graphic is to be held and imaged without further references
at the same position and with the same scale factor at all subsequent pages until
changed by a DJDE CANCEL= or ALTER= parameter.
n/d*
Specifies the reference scale factor.
Note: * None of these parameters may be used if the graphic image is document
interleaved. If page interleaved, the parameters may be used. If these parame-
ters are specified in the DJDE GRAPHIC= and also on one or more DJDE IM-
AGE= which reference the same graphic name, the graphic is imaged on the
page, once for each reference.
Note: The GRAPHIC parameter must be the only parameter in the DJDE packet.
