Dynamic Job Descriptor Entries (DJDEs)
JSL
The LCDS-Module supports downloading of files in a similar manner to what Xerox calls
"HOSTCOPY". A message will be posted to the user when a data stream is processed
which contains DJDE FILE=.
DJDE FILE= will be supported in the following way by:
JSL
The JSL will be written as a permanent disk-file (sub-cat-type JSL) so that it can be com-
piled manually when the system is idle. The compilation has to be explicitly initiated by the
user.
FNT, FRM, IMG and LGO
These elements will be written as a permanent disk-file (sub-cat-type FNT, FRM, IMG,
LGO) so that they can be used immediately.
FSL and TST
These file types are written as a permanent disk-file (sub-cat-type FSL, TST). These file
types are not yet supported.
Files conversion takes place as soon as appropriate:
In case of JSL file types, the compile function must be invoked at the end of the current re-
port.
