LANDSCAPE / PORTRAIT
LANDSCAPE
A printout is designated as a landscape-printout, when that line on which the characters are
added from left to right for human reading is a parallel to the long edge [1,2,3].
In PMODE=LANDSCAPE the LANDSCAPE-rules are applied. These are the following (the
list may or may not be complete):
in OVERPRINT= PRINT|PRINT2|IGNORE the characters are top-of-the-line-adjusted
the character-positioning is top-of-the-line-oriented
the adjustment for CME-CONSTANT is LANDSCAPE-specific
in case of 'printing off the page' landscape-rules are applied
If using portrait-fonts, the characters are put next to each other but the characters itself are
rotatetd by 90°
