match the Card and Socket service settings.
Ensure you are excluding the memory range used by the Intel adapter
from the memory manager in CONFIG.SYS.
Drivers do not load or errors are reported when net start is executed
for Windows For Workgroups.
Determine if Card and Socket services are in use. Use the vendor
provided configuration program to determine what memory and
interrupt resources are allocated for network card. Change the Intel
adapter settings in PROTOCOL.INI to match the Card and Socket
service settings.

If you are using NDIS2, edit the SYSTEM.INI file and look at
NETCARD= line.
On certain configurations the M16ACFG.EXE parameter must be
removed for proper operation. Add a line to the AUTOEXEC.BAT to
load M16ACFG.EXE before NET START.
An error occurs when NET START executes for Windows For
Workgroups.
Download the latest drivers from the Intel BBS or http://
support.intel.com.
REMOVE M16ACFG.EXE from the NETCARD= line in
SYSTEM.INI.
If you are using Toshiba PCMPLUS Card & Socket Services, use
CARDSERVICES=NO and MEM=C800 in the PROTOCOL.INI or
NET.CFG.
When using ODI for NetWare, I get attached to server, but can't see
the F: login drive, "drive not ready" is the error message you get
when trying to login.
