Select the interface in the Copy Parameters from field.

Select an interface in the Port Based Authentication Table.

Select the Copy to check box to define the interfaces to which the Port based authentication
parameters are copied.

Click Apply Changes.
The parameters are copied to the selected port in the Port Based Authentication Table, and
the switch module is updated.
Enabling Port Based Authentication Using the CLI Commands

Description
Specifies one or more authentication,
authorization, and accounting (AAA) methods
for use on interfaces running IEEE 802.1X.
Sets the maximum number of times that the
switch module
sends an EAP to the client,
before restarting the authentication process.
Manually initiates a re-authentication of all
802.1X-enabled ports or the specified 802.1X-
enabled port.
Enables periodic re-authentication of the client.
Sets the number of seconds that the
module
remains in the quiet state following a
failed authentication exchange.
Sets the number of seconds between re-
authentication attempts.
Sets the time for the retransmission of packets to
the authentication server.
Sets the time for the retransmission of an EAP
request frame to the client.
Sets the number of seconds that the
module
waits for a response to an EAP -
request/identity frame, from the client, before
resending the request.
