Status details
Status icons
Indicates a healthy system or system component. Everything is OK and the system is working
correctly.
Indicates a warning state. Something needs attention but it is not critical to the successful operation
of the device. For example, a disk may have failed or disks may be installed but not licensed.
Indicates a critical state. Something needs attention and should be investigated immediately.
Devices (Configuration)
If possible, a default library is created automatically when a new host connects to the HP D2D Backup
System. Use this page to view and configure the default library and to create additional devices, if
required, for the host.
If there are more than six devices, use the arrow key (under the list of devices) to display more devices.
NOTE:
If the HP D2D is connected to a Fibre Channel network, it is not possible to create a default library for
the host automatically during installation. Use this page to create and configure devices that can be
accessed by the host.
This section provides the information that identifies your HP D2D Backup
System. It shows the IP Address, Name, Network Name and Serial Number
of the HP D2D Backup System. It also shows how long the HP D2D has
been running.
This section provides details about overall system status and the status of
system components. Additional information is provided if the status is not
OK. See also

Disk Space Allocated indicates the amount of space that has been allocated
for the number of cartridges created on the unit. Each slot configured
commits 3 GB of physical disk space. Cartridge Data Usage shows how
much user data has been backed up to unit. See also

RAID and RAID battery are the first place to look to identify any problems
with the RAID status.
Disk Licensing will show a warning message if you have the 12–disk version
and have not yet provided the licensing information. If you have just installed
the 6–disk upgrade, the additional disks cannot be expanded into the RAID
array without the license, see
