Removing Print Jams From the Op er
NOTICE: protect the drums of the print cartridges against bright light, cl front cover
within five minutes. If the front cover remains open for n five minutes, print quality
may deteriorate.
NOTE: lve the error displayed on the operator panel, you must clear all p a from the
print media path.
1. the tray out of the multifunction printer until it stops. Hold the t both hands, lift the
front slightly, and remove it from the multif printer.
NOTE: aper in the optional 550-sheet paper feeder feeds to the multifuncti er from the
front of the 250-sheet tray, therefore paper jammed in t heet tray can block the
optional tray module in the multifunction p reventing you from opening them. Look for
the jammed paper sequential ting with the optional 550-sheet paper feeder.
2. Rem ammed and/or creased paper from the tray.
