Check the Syslog Forwarding box to enable syslog forwarding.

In the Syslog Forwarding Priority Level field, use the pull-down menu to
set the email forwarding priority level:

In the Syslog Receiver IP Address field, enter the IP address of the syslog
server.

In the Syslog Facility field, use the pull-down menu to select the facility
used by other routers on your network.
Originally, the syslog facility was used to identify which part of a UNIX
system originated a particular message. This system does not define a
router as part of the UNIX system, but the local0 through local7 facilities
are typically reserved for messages from remote devices.
6.
Click Apply to save your changes.

Display the Event History

To view the router's event history from the Web browser interface, click the
Event History tab on the Logging screen.

Enabling ALGs

These ALGs are enabled by default:
FTP
SIP
PPTP
The H.323 ALG is disabled by default.
To configure the ALGs, follow these steps:
1.
Under Firewall in the left navigation bar, select General Firewall.
2.
Select the ALG Settings tab.
3.
Check the boxes for the ALGs that you want to enable. Uncheck the box
to disable the ALG.
