CHAPTER 5 CLI Commands
connect [maintain]
Controller doesn't already have one. The optional maintain parameter is the same as
described with the reconnect command above.
disconnect
client. Note that if auto-connect is enabled, this acts the same as reconnect. But if
there is a temporary auto-connect enabled through maintain to the connect or
reconnect commands, this undoes that override, so Media Flow Controller returns to
behaving as auto-connect is set.
enable
is made to the appliance unless it is enabled.
—Set the port to use when initiating a connection with this appliance. Use no to reset
port
the default, 22, the standard SSH port.
remove-key
rename
with the new ID; if there is, this command fails.
source
address
connections from this appliance. If set, Media Flow Controller does not accept client-
initiated connections from this appliance unless the source address matches this
setting. Use no to clear this field, so Media Flow Controller verifies against the main
appliance address (configured with cmc appliance <appliance_id> address
<address>).
port
connections from this appliance. If set, Media Flow Controller does not accept client-
initiated connections from this appliance unless the source port matches this setting.
Use no to clear this field, which means Media Flow Controller does not verify the
source port.
show cmc [appliances [<appliance_ID>] [brief]]
Gives an overview of the CMC's configuration and operational status. Use appliance option to
list all the appliances currently configured, and gives their status. Use <appliance_ID> to
show the settings and status for an individual appliance, in full. Use brief option to show only a
brief summary of each appliance; otherwise, we show each in full.
