Reverse steps 1 through 8 to replace the rear fan cage.
Battery Backed Write Cache Assembly
The battery-backed write cache (BBWC) assembly contains the battery-backed write cache
enabler, the 5i Plus Memory Module, and the cable that connects the two.
Note:
must stay connected. Unplugging the cable deletes all the data in the cache.
To remove the BBWC assembly:
1. Power down the server. Refer to "Powering Down the Server" in this chapter.
2. Extend the server from the rack. Refer to "Extending the Rack from the Server" in this
3. Remove the rear access panel. Refer to "Opening and Removing the Rear Access Panel"
4. Remove the front access panel. Refer to "Removing the Front Access Panel" in this
