Removal and Replacement Procedures
Note:
Reverse steps 1 through 3 to replace a hot-plug SCSI hard drive.

Power Supply Blank

To remove a power supply blank:
1. Press the lever-release button on the handle of the power supply blanks (1).
2. Pull on the lever to release the blank (2).
3. Remove the power supply blank from the server (3).

Note:
Reverse steps 1 through 3 to replace a power supply blank.

Hot-Plug Power Supplies

For information on power supply diagnosis, refer to "Hot-Plug Power Supply LEDs" in
Chapter 4.

Always populate hard drive bays starting with the lowest SCSI ID.

Keep the power supply blank for future use.
Caution:
Do not remove a hot-plug power supply unless there are two power supplies
installed. If second power supply is not installed, the system must be powered down to
remove the power supply.
