Revised: December, 2010, OL-21851-01

Contents

Once you have configured MIDlets service on your Cisco Unified IP Phone, you can enable the
following features:
One Phone Per Office
The One Phone per Office feature expands the capabilities of the Cisco Unified IP Phone to function as
the single desk phone in the room while retaining the phone's function as a terminal for the
Cisco TelePresence system. This feature allows the connection of Enhanced 911 (E911) services so that
if power is lost to the building, the Cisco Unified IP phone still functions to make emergency calls.
Before this feature was introduced, the CTS required an additional dedicated Cisco Unified IP phone to
act as the control device for the CTS system; now there is a single phone in the room for all functions.
The following functions are supported with the One Phone Per Office feature on the single Cisco Unified
IP Phone:
See the following sections for more information:

Initiate and receive audio-only calls on the CTS endpoint.

All accessibility options are still available.
