1.10 IS3F/HTP Sensor Features
The IS3F/HTP electronic sensors are capable of detecting, due to a patented and advanced control technology, the
image variation of a moving yarn under control; it can show with absolute certainty the movement or stop condition of
the yarn.
The technique based on image variation (Image Smart Scanning Sensor) makes the IS3F/HTP sensor exempt from the
influence of environment/yarn conditions: i.e. in humidity, conductivity and machine vibrations. It does not require any
physical contact with the yarn under control and therefore allows perfect monitoring without affecting the tension
features of the yarn itself in any way
The IS3F/HTP sensors are the most reliable and advanced solution for yarn control in textile machines.
The sensor is full programmable for an easy fitting to the control of any type of yarn/application.
For the MATRIX CUBE application, the sensor can detect the yarn running position and condition (within the detecting
area) providing the next information:
1.
the yarn is running to the green side, i.e. it is fed by the right spool;
2.
the yarn is running to the red side, i.e. it is fed by the left spool;
3.
the yarn is not running (broken yarn);
4.
the yarn has change its running position, i.e. it has switched from green to red side or vice versa; this means
that a spool has ended and the yarn is now fed by the second spool.
