Introduction Introduction The MATRIX CUBE (MCC) has been developed by BTSR International S.p.A. to optimize the elastic yarn application on automatic diapers production lines. Since, for space reason it is impossible to install feeding devices (such as BTSR DIAPERFEEDER devices) on the exact application point of the elastic yarns along the production line, a solutions has been developed, based upon two independent (yet interactive) tension control/adjustment systems.

The technical characteristics and the interface of the SM-DIN/MULTILOOP Board are described on section 1– Installation and Connections, while the Board configuration functions are described on the operating manual: SM- DIN/MULTILOOP/ETH SM-DIN/MULTILOOP/PFN (please contact BTSR customer service for the latest available version). MATRIX CUBE (MCC)
DIAPER FEEDER device that controls the involved position. This allows the operator to replace the run-out spool, while the machine continues to operate with the new spool. The MATRIX CUBE (MCC) system may control a very high number of positions thanks to the modular and extendable structure of the creels.

CUBE systems are totally controlled by the PLC this parameter has to be set to NO. For more details about machine PLC integration and the configuration of this parameter please refer to Machine Supplier, BTSR authorized reseller or BTSR Headquarter.
Even though the operating parameters of DIAPER FEEDER devices can be programmed locally using the built-in Keyboard and Display, for MATRIX CUBE application the programming is normally carried out using the MATRIX TOUCH DIAPER terminal, through the SM-DIN Board (SM-DIN is Master of DIAPER FEEDER device, and receives input from MATRIX TOUCH DIAPER or PLC).
