Maintenance and care

Have your PostBase Vision M2 cleaned and serviced regularly by authorised service.
This guarantees long-term, trouble-free operation. Ask about available maintenance
agreements.
You can do the following work yourself:
– Clean housing exterior
– Clean the print system
– Change the ink cartridge
– Calibrate the touch screen.

Cleaning the housing

Warning! Electrical hazard. Disconnect the power plug from the outlet
before cleaning the PostBase Vision M2 franking machine.
Warning! Electrical hazard due to short circuits. Be extremely careful
when handling fluids. Take special care to ensure that no foreign objects pen-
etrate the interior of the franking machine. However, if this does occur: Have
the franking machine checked by FP Customer Service before using it again.
• Turn off the franking machine.
• Pull the power plug out of the power outlet.

• Clean any dirt off the housing with a slightly
damp cloth. You can also use commer-
cially available dishwashing detergent.
