Move ink cartridge manually to change position

If it should ever be necessary (e.g. if you have to send the franking machine to the
Customer Service because of a defect), there is the option of removing the ink car-
tridge from the turned-off franking machine.
Disconnecting the PostBase Vision M2
(on the right-hand side of the housing)
For access to the cartridge compartment
• Turn off the PostBase Vision M2.
from the mains
PostBase Vision M2 will complete any cur-
rent actions and then turn itself off. The but-
3 seconds ton illumination and display light go out.
• Unplug the power plug of the power supply
unit from the power outlet.
Remove the cap • Place the machine so that the right side is
on the edge of a table.
• Place a small screwdriver (or similar) in the
recess of the cap and carefully prise the
cap out.
• Store the cap in a safe place.
• Take off the weighing platform
(see page 113).
• Unlock the weighing unit manually and fold
it up (see page 113).
