Issue
Error during the course of the
installation routine.
R-PIN missing.
Security device (NPSD) not
detected.
Possible cause and remedy
An error message with tips for remedial action
appears in the display.
If necessary:
• Turn off the PostBase Vision M2 (see page 26).
• Wait one minute.
• Turn the PostBase Vision M2 on again.
The installation procedure restarts.
Note: Make sure the connection configuration is
correct.
You will receive the R-PIN separately from the
machine (by e-mail or post).
No security device (NPSD) inserted.
Confirm the error message and follow the instruc-
tions on the display. Insert the security device
(NPSD) supplied by FP for your franking machine
(see chapter 17.6).
