Synchronising
Synchronise – possible functions and their meaning:
SystemSync Synchronise with the FP Service.
Sending diagnostic data for service purposes
and updating the machine software, etc.
Vision360 Sync Synchronise with the customer portal.
Upload usage data for convenient display
and analysis in the portal.
Receive updates on cost accounts, user
access and adverts, etc. that are available in
the portal.
Note: During operation, PostBase Vision M2
automatically synchronises with the portal
about every 5 minutes.
Postal Sync Uploads product usage data.
Note: Your PostBase Vision M2 franking
machine needs to upload product usage data
daily. If you keep your PostBase Vision M2
switched on and connected to the internet,
this will happen automatically each day at
midnight.
PostBase Vision M2 will also remind you
when it is time to upload the product usage
data. If you fail to do so, the franking machine
will lock down after a certain amount of time
until you performed a Postal Sync.
After synchronisation, it may take up to
15 minutes for the data to be updated at the
MyFP customer portal.
