PostBase Vision M2
Issue
... when weighing
Mail piece on the weighing
platform touches the display /
rests on the display.
(Strange) noises from within
the machine when weighing a
mail piece.
Scale does not determine a
weight for the mail piece placed
on the weighing platform.
Possible cause and remedy
Especially with larger or flexible mail pieces, they
may touch the display frame.
Set display steeper (see chapter 4.4).
Upon weighing a mail piece, the ink cartridge
moves to the print position.
The PostBase Vision M2 is ready to frank a lot
faster this way.
These Operating noises when preparing the print
system for franking and when returning to the
sealed position are normal and not errors.
The weighing platform was still occupied when
another mail piece was placed on it.
The scale can determine a new weight only if the
scale was previously unloaded.
Empty the weighing platform. Place the mail piece.
Weight is too low or the scale is overloaded.
Use the scale for mail pieces of the permitted
weight range only (see page 127).
The PostBase Vision M2 does not detect the scale
or the scale is defective. Contact Customer Service.
