generates noises without any
apparent reason.
Possible cause and remedy
The selected incoming stamp does not contain any
time information.
Select a received mail stamp that prints both time
and date.
The date set is not the current date. The
PostBase Vision M2 can only print the time
together with the current date.
Sensor does not detect letter.
Place the letter on the right edge of the letter slot
and push it in until it reaches the stop.
The sensor is located in the right rear corner of the
mail slot.
Sensor does not detect the inserted sheet (e.g.
during test print).
Fold the sheet in the middle and place it in the let-
ter slot with the folded edge first.
Sensor does not detect the franking label.
Place a sheet of paper or an empty envelope
under the franking label to be printed and try again.
Letter was already in the letter slot while you were
making settings in the menu.
Remove the letter and place it back again.
Envelope / label / sheet of paper has been moved.
Remove it from the letter slot.
Repeat the printing process.
Note: Insert the envelope / label / sheet of paper
and hold it for about a second.
Preparing the print system for franking and return-
ing to the sealed position causes noise. These are
normal operating noises and not errors.
