18 Decommissioning and disposing of the
PostBase Vision M2
To ultimately decommission the PostBase Vision M2 franking machine, you must
correctly deactivate all postal services. PostBase Vision M2 will guide you through all
required decommissioning steps in a dialogue. We are pleased to assist if required.
Please contact the FP aftersales service.
In case of a rented or leased franking machine, please make sure to always contact
the FP aftersales service.
Caution! Run the 'Withdraw Machine' function only if you really want to de-
commission the PostBase Vision M2. Commissioning the franking machine
after decommissioning is only possible by calling a service technician at extra
costs.
• Make sure PostBase Vision M2 has a net-
work connection (LAN or Wi-Fi).
• Open the 'Menu'.
• Choose 'Withdraw Machine'.
• Follow the instructions on the display.
