Step 3: Connecting the PostBase Vision M2

Assembling the weighing platform
• Hold the weighing platform as shown in the
illustration. The slot in the foot of the weigh-
ing platform must face backwards.
• Place the weighing platform onto the noz-
zle of the scale from above. The slot in the
foot of the weighing platform must slide into
the guide on the nozzle of the scale.
• Press lightly on the weighing platform from
above with the flat of your hand.
Warning! Danger from electrical voltage if
improperly connected.
• Only use a power supply unit specified in
the section 'Technical Data'. Make sure
that the power supply unit is not damaged.
• Use the supplied power and connection
cables or cables that have been approved
by Francotyp-Postalia. Make sure that
cables are not damaged.
• Only connect the PostBase Vision M2
franking machine to a properly installed
power outlet. Make sure that the power
connection corresponds to the voltage
value indicated on the serial number plate
of the power supply unit.
• Make sure that the power outlet is nearby
and easily accessible at all times.
