Alternate Assembly Instructions for RTV Sealing
1.
Lay abead of RTV approximately 1/8-inch thick along the inside edge of the bottom case at the
printer port opening.

Carefully lay the PCB into the back case.
3. Attach the PCB to the back case using two 2-56 x 3/16-inch pan-head screws (refter to Figure 7-4
AIM and AIM Plus PCBs to Back Cases). Tighten Screws.

Layasecond bead of RTV across the board at the top of the printer port to seal all gaps. Clean the
outside of the printer port of any excess RTV, be sure not to create a gap in the seal.
5.
Apply a small 1/16" bead of RTV on the bottom case as shown below.
