Motor Test
Perform either Dry or Wet Test.
II Dry Test Setup:
Section 5, Maintenance and Service Tests

Attach the torque brake fixture to the pump's motor shaft extension.

Turn on the torque brake.
O Wet Test Setup:

Attach a primed PROVIDER set to the pump's motor shaft extension.

Press [5] and [6] to enable chips 6811 and 6805.
Press and hold the up arrow to increase PW1 to 230. Verify that the
motor speed increases smoothly and that the shaft is turning
clockwise.
Press [3}to disable 6805. Verify that the motor turns off.
Press [6] to enable 6805. Verify that the motor turns on.
Verify that the SUPPLY
CURRENT
reading on the DMM
is
210 mA or less (1 mV = 1 mA).
Verify that the I (motor current) reading is 115 or less.
Verify that the RPM reading is 76.0 - 97.0 (third digit is 10ths).
Press [OPTIONS] twice to record the test data to memory.
Press [2] to disable 6811. Verify that the motor tums off. Press
[NO] to exit.
If using the PVT Form, record the results.
Press [YES] to indicate PASS and go to the next test, [NO] to exit
the FINAL ATP, or press [BACK-UP] to repeat the test.
