Press [6] to enable chip 6805. Verify that the arrow switches from
down to up and that the beeper sounds. Press [3] to disable 6805.
Verify that the beeper goes off and that the arrow switches to the
down position. (Note: the display examples shown here represent
the AIM Plus.)
Press [5] to enable chip 6811.
Verify that the arrow next to 6811 switches from down to up and
that the beeper sounds continuously.
While the beeper is on, press [OPTIONS] and verify that the beeper
volume goes up and down as the duty cycle runs between 0 - 50%.
Press [OPTIONS] again to stop the cycling, then use the arrow keys
to set the duty cycle to the loudest sound - approximately 50%
(individual beepers may vary).
Press [YES/ENTER] to switch the asterisk down to the frequency
entry.
Use the arrow keys to set the frequency to the loudest sound:
AIM should be 4 kHz, AIM Plus should be 2.00 - 2.30 kHz.
Press [2] to disable 6811. Verify that the beeper goes off and that
the arrow switches to the down position.
Press [NO] to exit.
If using the PVT Form, record the results.
Press [YES] to indicate PASS and go to the next test, [NO] to exit
the FINAL ATP, or press [BACK-UP] to repeat the test.
